i am good with fractions try me

it is 0.45 but u try to convert it back to a fraction
Hello! Welcome to OpenStudy! To multiply fractions, you simply multiply both numerators, the top numbers, and both denominators, the bottom numbers. Here's an example: \(\large\dfrac{2}3 * \dfrac45\) \(\large 2*4 = 8\) \(\large 3*5 = 15\) So the new fraction is: \(\large \dfrac{8}{15}\) Does that make sense?
totally
Good, so what's the answer to your question as a fraction?
9/9 but that doesnt make sense
Close, you multiplied the numerators, but not the denominators
\(\large \dfrac35 *\dfrac34\) \(\large 3*3 = 9\) \(\large 5*4 = ?\)
oh so its 9/20
Yes! :)
i thought something seemed funny when i thought it was 9/9
Yep, just remember to multiply the top and bottom :)
Any more questions?
