If \[\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}c_n 4^n\] is convergent, does it follow that the following series are convergent?

a) \[\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}c_n(-2)^n\]
b) \[\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}c_n(-4)^n\]
