OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Can you do a simple reminder of what a slope and y-intercept is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not sure either...

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Okay. That's alright!

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Let me see if I can help you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank You!

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

No problem! I'm happy to help!

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

So, I believe the y-intercept is 20. I'm sorry, im not exactly sure how to explain that. well, lets say she just started driving when she was 20 miles from her house. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that make slope 30?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

35*

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Let me double check for you just in case

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Np. Is there another point she is trying to get to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope thats the whole question

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Ok

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Sorry its taking so long.

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Can I give you what it might be? I'm not completely sure, but its my best guess. I havent done slope and y-intercept form in quitea while so, im a bit rusty

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

sorry, computer is glitching also

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

@dgxfchgvjbk

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

I would say maybe do 35 divided by 20.

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

which is 1.75. I dont know if you for sure want to get it right, but i know (at least i think i know) its not 35
