PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE!

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

celinegirl Reread the following paragraphs from King's letter, paying attention to the way that he structures his ideas: Paragraph 5 of 12 I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and willingly accepts the penalty by staying in jail to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the very highest respect for law. Paragraph 6 of 12 We can never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was "legal" and everything the Hungarian freedom fighters did in Hungary was "illegal." It was "illegal" to aid and comfort a Jew in Hitler's Germany. But I am sure that, if I had lived in Germany during that time, I would have aided and comforted my Jewish brothers even though it was illegal. If I lived in a communist country today where certain principles dear to the Christian faith are suppressed, I believe I would openly advocate disobeying these anti-religious laws. In complete sentences, answer the following questions: What is the main idea of each paragraph and how are the ideas connected? What is the effect of making these points in the order King has chosen? How do these two paragraphs support King's claim that "Now is the time to act."

Atsie (atsie):

Paragraph one appears that a King, although he is punishing someone for breaking the law has greater respect for him than for one who doesn't. Because one who doesn't has no sense of believing in something or standing up for it and in turn that could be called cowardly-ness. Paragraph two explains from the King's perspective also that he is one to stand up for what he believes in even it means breaking the law. It may also appear that the King had done this at some point in his own life so thus he'd know from his own experience and therefore his respect for those that do is obvious. There is something to get you started, you think about the rest. :)
