OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer4 can you explain this to me without giving me the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RCCB are you busy?

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Hey, I know this bro You want me to explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes please that would be great.

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Triangle RST is congruent to NPQ Measure of angle R = -7x + 9 Measure of angle N = -10x This is what we are given Angle R and angle N are congruent because of the congruent triangle rule So, in other words, measure of angle N = measure of angle R Or, -10x = -7x + 9 do you know how to simplify this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-10x = -7x + 9 -3x = 9 /3 /3 x = -3 or is it 3?

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Nope, you're right It's -3 Now, plug it back into one angle equation to find the measure of both angles

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

I believe you were confused because -3x = 9 /3 /3 -x = 3 /-1 /-1 x = -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-10(-3) = -7(-3) + 9 30 = 21 + 9 R = 30, N = 30 Did I do this right?

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Yep, you did it absolutely right! Great job! ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome thanks guys!

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

No problem bro Anytime I love helping people with math X3

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Well, I gtg Good luck and have a good day
