The Egyptians where in order of 7, The first and most important is the pharaoh/king,the second was the priests/nobles, the third was the soldiers, the fourth was the scribes, the fifth was the merchants, the sixth was the farmers,and the last ones were slaves and servant's they all had things to do.

The pharaoh was the most powerful leader in the old kingdom. He was called Ramses II also known as Ramses the great. He had ruled for about 66 years, he was also famous, and he was famous for all of his buildings.

Egyptians believed in polytheism, and that means that they believe in many gods but some of the gods are more important than the other gods. Some of the important gods are Ra,the sun god, and Osiris the god of the underworld.

The Egyptians used reed, called papyrus,to event the first paper,and another new style of writing is called hieratic script,it was much easier and faster to write.

The great pyramid was one of the best achievements of the old kingdom,it took more than 100,000 people to build it, and It took over 20 years to finish, the Egyptians also created pyramids,palaces,and even temples.

The land had grown great food,and the people had lived longer lives. The Egyptians created canals to control their water when the Nile had flooded,and they also bartered goods. hope this helps :)
