Do you know the formula for the Area of a circle?

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

And the formula for the circumference of a circle? You need both of these pretty much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes can you plug in the numbers so i can solve them

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

Alright, let's see First find the radius C = pi * (r)^2, so 37 5/7 = (22/7) * (r)^2 to find R Then use that R and plug it into the area A = pi * r^2 so A = (22/7) * (the r that you found)^2
