Which of the following points is on the unit circle? https://gyazo.com/6c9b3134f7e83e9262dff5966ea302f2

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

The answer would be within the points of the first quadrant of the unit circle. Would you know them if I told you the lines were pi/6, pi/4, and pi/3?

OpenStudy (verifiednykia):

no not at all sorry

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

It's not really a thing of learning, moreso memorization. You would have to use trig also. Let's take pi/6 Cos and Sin would have to add onto x and y, so your answer would be (Cos(x), Sin(y)) as your coordinate answer. Here you would plug in the pi value, so Cos(pi/4) and Sin(pi/4) Cos of pi/4 is squareroot of 3 over 2 and sin of pi/4 is 1/2 Making your answer (sqrt(3)/2, 1/2) or D

I see thank you so much you've been a great help :)
