PLEEAAASSEEEEE HELPPPPP WILL MEDAL!!! A plant seed germinates and produces five seeds. Each of those seeds is planted and germinates to produce five seeds of its own. How many total seeds will there be after seven germinations? 2,801 seeds 19,531 seeds 19,607 seeds 97,655 seeds

OpenStudy (mathmale):

You begin with 5 seeds. These 5 seeds germinate, and for each of the original 5, we get 5 more seeds, for a total of 25 seeds. Use the same approach to determine how many seeds would be produced if these 25 seeds all germinated and each produced 5 more seeds. What is the formula for this? 5: original number of seeds, when n=0 (n germinations): 5*5^0 25: 5*5^1 125 5*5^2 and so on. Can yo u use this info to find the number of seeds produced after 7 germinations?
