Theoceangirl (the_ocean_girl):

The body of a person with type O blood will accept a transfusion containing any type of blood. True False

Theoceangirl (the_ocean_girl):

@malcolmmcswain Help! I think it's false. I know Type O is the universal donor but I don't think it works both ways

OpenStudy (nebi):

People with type O blood cannot receive transfusions because its plasma antibodies would attack all other blood types. But they can donate to any blood type because type O is free from all immune-system antagonizing antigens. So your answer is False.

Theoceangirl (the_ocean_girl):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

@Nebi is correct.
