Ray DF bisects

OpenStudy (braydonlevi99):

|dw:1450069484125:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n+8=3n-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since df bisects(cuts in half) EDG that makes EF=FG so n+8=3n-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n=6 6+8=14 3(6)=18, 18-4=14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Therefore, EF and FG=14

OpenStudy (braydonlevi99):

I didn't get that...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which part did I lose you?

OpenStudy (braydonlevi99):

But no direct answers remember?

OpenStudy (braydonlevi99):

How do you get n = 6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I though I had explained that n+8=3n-4 Solve for n, and it equals 6 Plug 6 into the equations, and it equals 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get n by itself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n+8=3n-4 Add 4 to both sides n+12=3n Subtract 'n' from each side 12=2n Divide both sides by 2 to isolate 'n' 6=n Reverse to make easier n=6

OpenStudy (braydonlevi99):

i got it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cool deal.
