WILL AWARD MEDAL!!! One adult and 3 student tickets cost $11.50. Three adult and 2 student tickets cost $17.00. How much does each kind of ticket cost?
do you know how to make this into an equation?
I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it would be: x+3y=11.50 3x+2y=17.00 Is that right? I'm just not sure what to do from there. I know how to solve a problem like that with two equations and stuff, but I' not sure if I am supposed to solve them together or by themselves. Thanks, @Landon34
Is that all u need?
What do you mean?
Is that all the help you needed?
No...
First of all, if that the correct equation? Second, would I solve them together (ex. using substition, elimination, etc.)?
ok, you said thanks @landon34, so I thought that was all you needed.
you can check out this cool website to solve your equation. www.geteasysolution.com
Not working...Do you know how to do it, or no?
what I got was x = 11.50 + -3y
me too.
an adult ticket costs $8.50.
a child ticket costs $1.00
@sparklyme
hes offline bruh.
Your equations are right. I know the prices, but I found it in a way that's pretty complicated. I could try to explain my thinking of it, if you want
