Alex stores fertilizer for his farm in a rectangular box. The length of the box is 6 feet, width is 3 inches, and height is 9 inches. Each bag of fertilizer contains 0.225 cubic foot of fertilizer. How many bags of fertilizer will fill the box completely? [1 foot = 12 inches]
@foolofatook can u help me .
first convert the 6 feet to inches
how many inches are in 6 feet
72 inches
It's actually easier if you convert all to feet
How many feet is 3 in and 9 in.?
What is the answer?
Can someone plz show me how to it??/
I am so sorry I left ok So the width is 3/12 ft long and the height is 9/12 ft long. So you have to find the volume of it which is 6 x 3/12 x 9/12= 1.125 ft cubed
So then if you divide 1.125 by .225 you should get the bags of fertilizer
