Who or what do the three figures in the cartoon represent? To What 1937 FDR plan does the cartoon probably refer? Did FDR follow through with that plan? Why or why not?

Please help me somebody? I have three days to finish all my classes and I am almost done with this test. Please help me out:)

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

Well as you can see from the photo, above each person's head is "legislative", "executive", and "judicial". Going from that, what do you think the figures represent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess they represent their own branches, and judging by the cartoon, the executive branch supports the new deal.

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

Correct! Do you remember what the name of the FDR plan in 1937 was that involved the government branches?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Court-packing plan?

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

Yep! If you're having trouble with the rest, this site will be able to help you out with the rest of your written response: http://www.authentichistory.com/1930-1939/2-fdr/5-courtpacking/ It actually has the cartoon on it and explains a bit about what it means.
