Part One: Show all work in dividing 4t^2-1/15t+10 divided by 4t^2-4t+1/3t+5t+2 Part Two: Use Complete Sentences to explain your process
@LegendarySadist
So \[\large \sf \frac{4t^{2}-1}{15t+10} \div \frac{4t^{2}-4t+1}{3t+5t+2}\] Does that look right?
yes
Well you know what you should do when you divide fractions right?
no clue
Turn them into multiplication?
Multiply by the reciprocal.
i dont know how too
Take the fraction on the right. Flip the numerator and denominator. Then multiply it to the fraction on the left.
can you help? i dont really know how to multiply these
Just set it up in multiplication form.
so like this: 4t^2-1/15t+10 times 3ty^2+5t+2/4t^2-4t+1 ?
that looks right in form, but where did that "y^2" come from?
i didnt mean to put the y just ignore that so it should be 4t^2-1/15t+10 times 3t^2+5t+2/4t^2-4t+1
What do i do from there. like how exactly do i multiply them? i honestly have no clue how to do this at all
Same thing, why is it "3t^2" now?
thats what it was from the original equation, you just forgot to put it when you typed it out
i didnt catch it until now
This is what you have in your first post "3t+5t+2" and you confirmed that what I had was correct.
The equation i have on my work sheet is 4t^2-1/15t+10 divided by 4t^2-4t+1/3t^2+5t+2
i typed it wrong the first time that one is correct
