Sorry I suck at math

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

Sorry I'm really bad at these kinds of questions, but this site explains how to find that stuff: http://www.montereyinstitute.org/courses/DevelopmentalMath/COURSE_TEXT2_RESOURCE/U17_L2_T3_text_final.html

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

bad at math have an f in grade book

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

:(

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

anyone know how to do this??!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@JustJay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the vertex is (2,4)

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@JustJay i know but i am stuck between these two options: The vertex is (2, 4), the domain is all real numbers, and the range is y ≤ 4. The vertex is (2, 4), the domain is all real numbers, and the range is y ≥ 4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea so what u need?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

the sign in front of the parenthesis that are around the x should tell you if the range is above or below the vertex if the sign before the x is positive, then the range is above the vertex if the sign is negative, then the range is below

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@justjay which one it is

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

So it would be this one, correct? @jigglypuff314 @justjay The vertex is (2, 4), the domain is all real numbers, and the range is y ≥ 4.

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@jigglypuff314 ^

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

need confirmation if the above is right !:-)
