1. How does money make the exchange process easier? What would shopping be like if money didn't exist?

It provides an item with common value, it'd be a lot more of a hassle because you'd barter for what people would want/need, and order to get what they want you may have to trade someone else, and to get what that person wants you may have to trade a different person and so on.
