Pretty please, post just one problem at a time. Take a look at the first problem. It features 3 inqualities. You'll need to set up coordinate axes and then graph each inequality on the same set of axes.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

First inequality: \[x-4y \le8\]

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Hint: replace the inequality sign with =. Graph x-4y=8. suggestion: first let x=0. then -4y=8 and y=-2. Thus, one point on the graph is (0,-2) This is your y-intercept. Find the x-intercept now, please.

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

will it be (0,3)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

First, you let x =0 and found the value of y, which resulted in the point on the line (0,-2). Now, start over, to find the x-intercept of x-4y=8. Since the x-axis is the line y=0, set y=0 and solve for x. (It's not 3, sorry) The y-intercept is (0,-2). The x-intercept is ( ?? , 0). Fill in the blank.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Now graph those 2 points and draw a straight line thru them. Please use the Draw utility, so that I can see your work. Thanks.
