FAN AND MEDAL I just need these checked for if they are right or wrong 1) https://i.gyazo.com/38e76fd2b69c4dbeccd6246cb9896097.png I believe this one is B 2) https://i.gyazo.com/a94a6dc2597549ced2c098497967e30b.png I think this one is B too 3) https://i.gyazo.com/16fc35d3996e140e812c929f814da16e.png D 4) https://i.gyazo.com/7ff2dbf5efb4ae3daefa51caaf98e028.png B
1) should be iii only, but that choice isn't listed. So there's a typo here. q -> p is the converse of p -> q q -> p is only false if q = true AND p = false
So 1 and 2 are wrong but the rest are correct?
And got it!! I'll go fix these two up
2 is wrong as well, yes
3 is wrong
if a figure is a kite, then it is NOT a parallelogram (and vice versa)
4 is wrong too
For 1, do you think D would fit since it has iii in it?
4) if you throw a dart and you know 100% that it landed in circle A, are you guaranteed it landed in circle T as well?
Not guranteed no Would number 4 be C?
you need to post these problems one at a time
why is 4 C?
Ok ! One second I will go fix them all up and return
it's just a bit confusing. It's better to focus on one at a time
1) I'm guessing D would fit this best if iii is the one wrong, so D
if D was just "iii only" then it would be the answer
but D isn't that, so that's why I'm thinking there's a typo
Ohhh I'll email the teacher about this one !! for 2, I'm a bit stuck because CD is suposed to be half of WS and LI added up, but with each number I get a number too big to fit into all of them
`CD is suposed to be half of WS` it's the other way around CD = 2*WS
CD = 2*WS 5x+3 = 2*3x 5x+3 = 6x solve for x, then use it to find the value of CD = 5x+3
X is 3 so CD = 5*3+3 CD= 15+3 so it'd be 18?
yep
Thank you !! I'll do 3 and 4 now
you're welcome
I had two choices for 3, square and kite I'm guessing its either square or rhombus but I believe rhombus
why rhombus?
A rhmbus is a parallelogram and the sides are pperpendicular
rhombus has `sides are perpendicular` ---> false the diagonals are perpendicular, not the sides
Ohhh So it's rhombus? I'll do 4 now
yeah it's a rhombus
I believe 4 is D because if you throw the penny like you said then it won't be guranteed to land on either
if you throw a penny in circle A, where else is it guaranteed (100%) to land? which other circle?
c? I am sorry if I am being slow
circle C you mean?
Mhm!!
yes, if you throw a penny in circle A, it is guaranteed to land in circle C because of how circle A is set up: it's completely inside circle C so, If A, then C in logic notation: A --> C
So C? Thank you !! I really appreciate your help
yes and yw
