OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

hey consultation on this question \[f(x,y)=\frac{xyz}{x+y+z}\] domain is all (x,y,z) except (0,0,0) or I should say all points that lie on the plane x+y+z=0 are not part of the domain.

Parth (parthkohli):

but wait

Parth (parthkohli):

the second one is a lot more appropriate because (0,0,0) is not the only point lying on x + y + z = 0, is it?

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

oh i thought so, i had this on the exam i wrote first hand x+y+z different than zero then somehow i changed it to (0.0,0) lost 4 points for nothing haha

Parth (parthkohli):

oh that is bad

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

sometimes i feel really stupid

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

thanks for confirmation, i got a 96! 100 gone in smoke

Parth (parthkohli):

wow close enough!

Parth (parthkohli):

you'll get a perfect score the next time, I promise. don't worry about this one.

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

exam was pretty dull, easy enough to score 100.

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

nah i always make fatal errors my average 97, 98
