Since 1 (in -0.001) is in the thousandth place, we can divide 500 by 1000 and get 0.5. And since the exponent (-0.001) has a negative sign before it, we can bring its base down as the expression's denominator and get this equation: \[p = \frac{ 101.3 }{ e ^{0.5} } = ~?\] Just plug this into a scientific calculator to get your answer @LegendaryNikki

the only calculator i have is on my laptop and it says its scientific ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that'll work just as fine

202.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant find the thing to put the e so i dont know if that effected the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, I see. That's okay. When I plugged the equation into mine I got: \[p = \frac{ 101.3 }{ e ^{0.5} } \approx 61.4416\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, and don't forget the pascal unit (p) with your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay thank you so much!

You're welcome ^_^
