I am willing to do the work. I want to learn. I will upload document + my personal answers. I will help you in anyway I can!

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

here

OpenStudy (yoongilife):

I have asked three questions, but could we focus on them one at a time, please?

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

ok

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

1st. correct but also AD=DC maybe for the 3 sub-question

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

2nd question correct correct correct

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

3rd. Correct

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

i'm not sure for the 1st one.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

The first one looks correct to me :)

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

shouldn't you need to list all of the corresponding sides?

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

*parts

OpenStudy (yoongilife):

Sorry, my computer is acting up. The first question you recommend also using AD = DC. I'm just trying to learn, why!

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

AD and DC are also corresponding sides

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

|dw:1449950102891:dw|

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Because if AB = BC, and they both share BD, then if we plug it in to the pythagorean theorem, they would have the same hypotenuse. So AD = CD

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

also i would list all corresponding parts: all 3 pairs of angles and all 3 pairs of sides =]

OpenStudy (yoongilife):

Ok, that is what I was trying to ask, what theory? Which you have noted to be the Pythagorean theorem. I agree with the addition of AD = CD so I will add that to my answer.
