Is this expression true or false? 6x-5+7y = 7y-6x+5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's false, but I'm not sure why.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Why not combine the x terms (first) and the y terms (next). Same for the constant terms. What do you see now? Is the eq'n true or false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

False! 6x-5+7y != 7y-6x+5 6x-5+7y = -7y-6x+5 7y should be negative..

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

"True" or "False" is not likely to include the actual answer for what might be "Conditionally True".
