It's true. Bandwagon fallacy is used when we try to convince others, that just because others are doing it, why shouldn't we? Then, in business proposals to ensure it gets through, we need to reason that because the rival companies are most likely doing the same thing, we should be doing this as well. Because there could be a reason why they did this.
