D is = to C isn't it?

C seems good. What happens if you multiply your equation by 2 to get rid of the fraction?\[\large\rm \color{royalblue}{2}\cdot y=\color{royalblue}{2}\cdot\left(-\frac{1}{2}+3\right)\]It should get you closer to finding the other correct choice.
