Here's my opinion:
So, say there's a spammer and a spam post.
You post this "bomb."
The user can't load the post.
Now the post is stuck there, Mods can't close or delete it because we can't load the post.

It's no good.
You see spam? Report it.
No Mods online? PM the link to an offline Moderator to do something about it later.

I just remember what this stuff did when I would try to load the posts back before I was a Moderator. My browser would crash, and I'd never be able to load the post again.
