The x-intercepts of a quadratic function are -3 and 5. What is the equation of its axis of symmetry?

For a quadratic function, the axis of symmetry will be the line in between the two x-intercepts. To find its x value, just add the intercepts together and divide by 2: -3+5=2 2/2=1 The axis of symmetry is the vertical line x=1
