TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Same thing like last time. We need to find the slope. Choose two points from the table and use the slope formula. \(\sf\Large Slope = \frac{\color{blue}{y_2}-\color{red}{y_1}}{\color{green}{x_2}-\color{purple}{x_1}}\) Where the two points are in the form: \(\sf\Large (\color{purple}{x_1},\color{red}{y_1})~and~(\color{green}{x_2},\color{blue}{y_2})\)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Any two points on the same line will give you the same slope.

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

y = -1x + -4 ?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Wrong... Show me your work so I can see where you made the mistake :)

OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

Uhm, it was a mix of subtraction and guestimating!
