Verbal; Uses words to mean something different then whats said. Ex:"I can't wait to read the 2000 page report." Dramatic; When the reader/audience is aware but the character is not. Ex; Snow white. The reader and watcher knew that the apple was poisoned, but snow white didn't. Situation; When when the exact opposites of what is meant to happen, happens, Ex; Someone buys a gun to save himself but That same gun harms him.
