im not too familiar
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Okay so you take the denominator, multiply it by the whole number, then add the numerator. Put the number you got on top and keep the denominator the same.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Wait wait wait.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i get what you are saying!, i know you made a mistake but i know that the biggest number goes on top! :D That actually helps me know how to solve another probblem like this one
OpenStudy (anonymous):
No hold on.

That is how you turn the mixed number into a fraction, the reciprocal you would take and flip it over. :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh thats oka MD!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So do what I said and then flip it over.
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (md152727):
but not "always"
OpenStudy (anonymous):
well yeah
OpenStudy (anonymous):
No problem! :D Sorry, just doing multiple things I got confused. However if the bigger number is on top it is considered an "improper fraction" and you just turn it into a mixed number or a whole number. :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
good to know!
