OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you get that answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait no i meant C im typing fast

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Better, haha. That is correct yes. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well if you know what a reciprocal is there is only one answer that works.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not too familiar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so you take the denominator, multiply it by the whole number, then add the numerator. Put the number you got on top and keep the denominator the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait wait wait.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get what you are saying!, i know you made a mistake but i know that the biggest number goes on top! :D That actually helps me know how to solve another probblem like this one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No hold on.

OpenStudy (md152727):

i didn't get the tag

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is how you turn the mixed number into a fraction, the reciprocal you would take and flip it over. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh thats oka MD!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So do what I said and then flip it over.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 19/5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5/19

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! There you go. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!!!, okay MD you can help me with this one!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well really quick, MD is that correct? Do you flip it or not? I am getting confused.

OpenStudy (md152727):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i mean the biggest number is always the dennominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right?

OpenStudy (md152727):

Yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay cool!!, thanks Moofish!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (md152727):

but not "always"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! :D Sorry, just doing multiple things I got confused. However if the bigger number is on top it is considered an "improper fraction" and you just turn it into a mixed number or a whole number. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good to know!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey MD!, i replied!, also what do you think of the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so we gonna ask and answer in google?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Glad I could help! :D Just @ me if you need me. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay! :D
