what do you want?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ -5+\iota }{ 2 \iota }\times \frac{ \iota }{ \iota }=\frac{ -5 \iota +\iota^2 }{ 2 \iota^2 }=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\iota^2=-1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here only iota in the denominator so try to make it i^2 if you have more terms always multiply the conjugate of the denominator for example if you have a+b iota in the denominator then multiply by (a-b iota )/(a-b iota)
