How do you find the central idea? by asking the speaker to repeat all main ideas after he or she is done speaking by identifying the topic, medium, and supporting sentences by looking at notes kept by a peer who uses highlighting by listening carefully to pauses the speaker uses when speaking help please :/

@gabbyalicorn or @nickmeneses1997 help please

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

First, take a guess....

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

What can you rule out? What doesn't seem right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i thinks its A that is right

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

Well, let's say I was the speaker. I gave this big speech about...Recycling. And then you ask, "What are the important main ideas in that speech you just gave." Because you have already listened to the speech, I would expect you to know. (know if it was a complicated speech like Physics, that's understandable, but moving on). I think the correct answer would be B. To identify what the passage is (if it was on paper) you could always go back and look at the supporting sentences. It usually gives you a better sense of things if you're not sure.

thanks :)

No problem! ;)
