PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK! *WILL MEDAL* What is the value of the function when x = −1?

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

I think 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is correct QUEEN

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

@MrNood

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@DERRICKCURRY STOP giving wrong answers - I am reporting you again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When I looked at the graph, I got a different answer f(x) = -1 so what is value of f(x) or y. (-1, 2) is not a point on the graph.

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@gabbyalicorn it is not 2 find the value -1 on the x axis then find the dot which corresponds with -1 then read its y value

OpenStudy (mrnood):

HINT the dot is BELOW the x axis

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

When you say corresponds, do you mean like which one is above, below, or beside it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think what is confusing about the graph might be the dot covers a negative sign

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

the only 1 below is -2

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

ya you're right

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

Okay, thanks. :)

Have a good day! your very welcome
