A looks good but, unicameral mean one chamber. Congress is our legislative branch with 2 parts: The House of Representatives and the Senate. 
Checks and Balances and Separation of powers are true though.

no. We have a bi cameral legislature. Look for another similar.
BTW Federalism means power is shared between the states and national government.
