There's a major issue in the United States, currently, of undocumented immigrants, and the loss in tax revenue. If they were to be made legal the US could add a good bit more money to it's economy. It can't be solved per se, only temporarily fixed. The entrance requirements for legal passage is too high for many from across the border to be able to afford, but if the requirements are lowered and made cheaper, and if amnesty is provided for the illegal immigrants then there will be less of a problem. Illegal immigration will always likely be a problem, but it can be less significant.
