does migration change population. if it does explain how.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it does. migrants go to a place and if they stay than they're a citizen and the population of that place goes up.

OpenStudy (hanamalik):

Because migration means that they leave a place and join another one, they gain their citizenship in that country/state, etc. at some point there will be a census, and then they will cause a rise in population, therefore the population is affected by those migrants!

OpenStudy (hanamalik):

By they I mean the migrants.

okay thanks :)
