omm can someone explain how i do this there is pile with 3,500 pounds of salt how many tons of salt are there ?( there are 2,000 pounds in one ton) pp.s not asking for the answer can u show me how i get the answer will reward+fan

You need to divide 3500 by 2000. The answer to that equation will be the answer to that question. :-)
