OpenStudy (benlindquist):

I need an explanation on how to do these?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

y = k x where k is a constant takimg one value of y and one of x say x=17 and y = 9 and substituting in the above; 9 = k*27 from that you can find the value of k and write the equation of direct variation using this value

OpenStudy (benlindquist):

ok

OpenStudy (welshfella):

* x = 27 and y = 9

OpenStudy (welshfella):

what do you get for k?

OpenStudy (benlindquist):

I'm still confused

OpenStudy (benlindquist):

ok, 3
