Can u help check my work? Mathmale
I'd have to see your work to do that.
Ok well the only thing I think I need help on is finding the slope because I don't know what to do
You're given a table of data points. Have you graphed them yet?
No how would I do that?
|dw:1450457656063:dw|
choose appropriate scale divisions for both axes, based on the data given you.
It won't let me click on that:( I'm on a tablet
Note that "time" varies from 10 minutes to 40 minutes, and that distance varies from 4 to 15 miles. Sorry you apparently can't see my illustration on your tablet. But there's not much I can do about that. Could you find a computer?
I'm sorry the only one is my dads but he is using it right now:(
the whole point here is to determine whether or not those points appear to lie on a straight line. The more this straight line describes the points, the higher the correlation. You could graph the points on paper and describe to me what you see. \Or you could continue this discussion later, when your dad is off his computer.
I will see if I can get on his computer later:) Thankyou for trying to help though, I appreciate it
I was always tught that slope is rise over run. So, if you plot two point on a graph \[ex) (0,1) (1,1)\] you locate rise(going up) divided by run (going over) which could o you a large fraction which you would then simplify.
