WILL AWARD MEDAL! need information for my study guide. please help. 1. Describe the cross between a dominant and a recessive trait and know what type of phenotypes will be produced 2.Describe the differences between: o Incomplete dominance o Codominance o Multiple alleles o Polygenic traits 3. how to determine allele combinations from a set of gametes (genotypes)

4. Understand how percentages work when using Chargaff’s rule in DNA bases 5. What is the purpose of DNA, including a description of all the elements in the double helix 6. Describe the differences between a strand of DNA and a strand of RNA

OpenStudy (dragon123mama):

it sorta helped. but i don't understand it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well for 1.) a dominant gene will be the one that shows up in your DNA the most. A recessive gene is a gene that is there but doesn't show through though it could be passed to offspring. Take eye color for example: when your mom has brown eyes and your dad has green. Brown will ALMOST always be the dominate gene and will be the child's eye color. I dont know the second part to the question but hope this helps doing the rest now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah idk anymore :( sorry hope you find help!

OpenStudy (dragon123mama):
