Hello?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

You need to be patient please x = # of hours y = # of sales calls m = (12 sales calls)/(1 hour) = 12/1 = 12 (# of calls total) = (calls/hr)*(# of hrs) + (# of calls made already) y = m*x + b y = 12x + 120 now plug in y = 480 and solve for x

Thanks can you stay on

2. Gina is having a party and wants to spend less than $450. She has already spent $300. The only item left on her list is pizzas, which cost $15 each. How many pizzas, x, can she purchase and stay under her budget? A.x < 20 B.x < 135 C.x < 10 D.x < 30

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

solve for x in `15x + 300 < 450`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

think of it as `15x+300 = 450`

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Putting just a question mark doesn't help me figure out where you're stuck or what you don't understand. Your response is too vague. Please be more specific as to what doesn't make sense

I am in a rush so could you just give me answers please.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
