@danhowell Thanks, I'm glad the first chapter is interesting. When I went back to it to clean it up and put it on wattpad, it felt a little dull compared to the later parts, but then again that's probably just because of my strange love for dark fantasy political intrigue books.

Anyway, glad it's good.

Chapter two's up, a little shorter than the first though. This one needed much 'cleaning'. I even completely rewrote an entire scene, it still had the same effect, but played out differently.

This one's a bit darker by the way. A little bit.
