What is the distance from the origin to the point (14, 11)?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

@reymishia: This problem is not much different from the previous problems you've posted. So, my question is, can you apply what y ou learned earlier to solving this problem? That's really important. You'll need to use the distance formula given you by one of your other helpers last time. I hope you've written that formula down.

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

check out our previous post, use the same formula, and tell wut you get with work please

OpenStudy (nuttyliaczar):

This is just a hypotenuse problem. Use the side lengths you are given to construct a triangle and solve for the hypotenuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So how would I write this formula out if they're only giving me 1 point ?

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

no, there is another point: orgin. Orgin is (0, 0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

17.8044

OpenStudy (xeno):

yeah thats correct! :)
