OpenStudy (mathmale):

Measure of what? Your post is incomplete. Please make sure you include all instructions that go with a posted diagram. What have you already tried towards solving this problem?

the measure YZ

I'm sorry about the

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I didn't get what you were saying about "the measure of YZ" until after having taken several additional looks at your diagram. Apparently you mean "the ARC YZ." Hope you have on hand some instructional material with examples of this kind of problem. Does this particular topic have a name, a name that you, I or both of us could look up on the 'Net? I do see that the figure features two straight lines that intersect within the circle. Did you mean to say that some angle is 38 degrees? If so, which one?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Did you mean to imply that ARC XU has some connection to the measure of angle 38 degrees?

still need help? i just helped you on a question similar to this @abdulshayef123

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since we know that the property of inscribed circles is that the angle is 1/2 that of the arc this means that we must multiply XVY by 2 to find the angle, this will give us the angle of UVZ aswell since they are both 90 degrees. After doing so we know that angle XVU is 38 degrees. Are you following?

the arc for the angle UVZ and XVY** correction
