I have seen questions like this before here and I was having trouble coming up with a solution (the similar question involved to painters working together).

There isn't an answer to this question you can only come up with an equation.  Review my work in the drawing and see if you can come up with a suitable equation.

This is a pretty tricky one, but I could get you an actual equation if you want.
