I am really interested in learning quantum mechanics but i don't know how to start, any suggestions?
i hope someone gives good advice on this. A simple book as a starting point is what i'm looking for...
Always start with the basics. I began my learning with 'Concepts of Physics' by H.C.Verma but it wasn't just dedicated to Quantum Mechanics. But that book helped me a lot.

Quantum Mechanics by Prof HC Verma. It is a BSc resource book :)
Thank you everyone your help.
you also have some top-notch tutorials from @Michele_Laino to get you going too prob is, tutorial retrieval in these parts isn't easy.......
here are two good textbooks, which illustrate the mathematical foundation of Quantum Mechanics: \[\begin{gathered} 1)\;{\text{P}}{\text{.A}}{\text{.M}}{\text{.}}\;\;{\text{Dirac}} \hfill \\ {\text{}}{\mathbf{The}}\;\;{\mathbf{Principles}}\;\;{\mathbf{of}}\;\;{\mathbf{Quantum}}\;\;{\mathbf{Mechanics}}{\text{}} \hfill \\ {\text{Clarendon}}\;\;{\text{Press}}{\text{,}}\;\;{\text{Oxford}}{\text{,}}\;\;{\text{\(4^\circ\) edition}}\;\;{\text{1958}} \hfill \\ \hfill \\ {\text{2)}}\;{\text{Chris}}\;\;{\text{J}}{\text{.}}\;\;{\text{Isham}} \hfill \\ {\text{}}{\mathbf{Lectures}}\;\;{\mathbf{on}}\;\;{\mathbf{Quantum}}\;\;{\mathbf{Theory}} \hfill \\ {\mathbf{Mathematical}}\;\;{\mathbf{and}}\;\;{\mathbf{Structural}}\;\;{\mathbf{Foundations}}{\text{}} \hfill \\ {\text{Imperial}}\;\;{\text{College}}\;\;{\text{Press}}{\text{,}}\;\;{\text{1995}} \hfill \\ \end{gathered} \] furthermore, please look at the reference book cited in my tutorial below: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/561d1b1fe4b0cadb1e103c5e
Here is a great playlist, also I'll probably posting things about QM as I'm learning about it next semester hehe. Check out the playlist, it's amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZ3bPUKo5zc&list=PLUl4u3cNGP61-9PEhRognw5vryrSEVLPr
Oh others already posted it rofl
(when three different people post the exact same lecture series, it must be good)
thanks! :) @UnkleRhaukus @Astrophysics for your link, I think, I often will see such lessons!
oops... also thanks to @IrishBoy123 !
