Colonization changes. The dynamics between countries.
The colonizing country seeks to make itself the ruler of the other by means of trade rather than war. The colony and any one living there, are seen as only a resource for the mother country.
There may be nice organizations put up and pleasantries between people but the bottom line is the colonizers get what they want.
