What is amplitude? the distance between two crests or two troughs. the number of complete waves that pass a point in a second. the height of a wave crest above the rest point the time it takes for one complete wave to pass a given point.
the angular distance of a celestial object from the true east or west point of the horizon at rising or setting.
From what I remember amplitude is the distance between the rest point to either highest or lowest point of the wave
The distance between a point on one wave to that same point on another wave-wave length Frequency- number of complete waves per second. Period- Time required for one complete wave Amplitude of a wave-maximum distance from its equilibrium position.
@Abmon98 That's a nice summary of the key terms!
