Hi Can somebody help me with a math project it is about viruses and growth rates and such and I am struggling.

The virus I wanted to do this project with is the rabies virus but I can't find any growth rates and I don't know an appropriate number to put in that place

Does .60 sound like an appropriate growth rate to work with?

well a growth rate would need to be larger that 1 for the population to increase.

so if you said the growth rate is 10% per day then you need to use 1.1

if the rate is between 0 and 1 then you have decline.

so if the population declined by 30% then use 0.7 as the rate
