Am I right?? http://goo.gl/6tRlpm
no
Add 2 to both sides. we get -x/9<5 multiply both sides by 9. we get −x<5*9 => ?
D is also incorrect
B.
yeah
@pooja195
B is correct
why so confusing?
it can be done in 3 steps. now is 33
\[\huge~\rm~\bf~\frac{ -1 }{ 9 }x-2<3\] Add 2 \[\huge~\rm~\bf~\frac{ -1 }{ 9 }x-2+2<3+2\] You get this \[\huge~\rm~\bf~\frac{ -1 }{ 9 }x<3+2\] \[\huge~\rm~\bf~\frac{ -1 }{ 9 }x<5\] Multiply by the reciprocal -1/9 ---->9/-1 \[\huge~\rm~\bf~\frac{ 9 }{ -1 }\times \frac{ -1 }{ 9}<\frac{ 9 }{ -1} \times 5\]
From there you get x>-45 Do you understand why it is B? @BriellShaw
you sure you did no mistake pooja? like in previous time.
I know i didn't make a mistake. I remembered to flip the sign. When dividing by a negative we flip the sign.
previous time you forgot
Yeah we are all humans we were born to make mistakes, that's how we learn from them ^_^
Thank You @pooja195 for admitting tht you made a mistake
and i uderstand
and pooja, looks like in your terms astrophysics gave a direct answer in previous post.
Good ^_^ I apologize for that mistake. <---referring to the previous problem.
